Learning English everyday!

Image
I am always trying to master the English Language! Learning English requires practice. Today Internet offers so many resources. When I was in school I just had my books, my teachers and American movies and cartoons! I stopped learning English when I left high school. But I learned a lot outside of class, there are different sources to improve English knowledge. I remember I subscribed to some English magazines for one year or two. I also read some literature in the English language, a few of the classics, and poetry. I watched many English series in my youth. Many of it was from BBC. I also watched lots of American movies. Today I still am an avid moviegoer. That's how I expanded my vocabulary. English and American songs were also a big help. Whenever I bought a record I would explore the lyrics. #Raise your voice - Blog Action Day 2015

Today is Blog Action Day ! What is Blog Action Day 2015? #BAD15, #Raiseyourvoice "No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world", an actor said. He made us laugh many times, it was Robin Williams. He was wise. #Raise Your Voice is the theme to write about. Many of us can write freely but a large percentage of people can't. All these names made headlines - Raif Badawi , a Saudi blogger, Yassine Ayari , a France-based Tunisian national, Mohammad Reza Pourshajari from Iran, the Vietnamese blogger Ta Phong Tan - and many more that are missing from this shortlist. Last Sunday we had some bad weather and quite out of the blue I decided it was time to make some cleaning on my blogs. Maybe because I had an extra cleaning in the house the week before! I have a few blogs so one decision like this one is never a pleasant decision. But everything is done now and I am happy enough with the result. As you know I have two blogs I use to promote Zazzle adventures, one is No Boring White and the other is A Portuguese Love . The first one was more or less ok, just a few dead links and it was it. But A Portuguese Love was a real mess! I don't understand how that happened entirely. To be honest, blogging hasn't been on my list of priorities. So I kind of ignore it for half a year now. Life isn't perfect! I found lots of dead links, lots!! And

Since ever they have been inspired by it.  Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday in USA. My idea is that this celebration was an old festival to give thanks for the harvest started by European pilgrims that arrived USA to settle. This holiday is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November. Many american families join around the table to share food. I remember Thanksgiving from Traines, Planes and automobiles, a very funny movie with Steve Martin I watched when I was in my teens. So I am aware  about the turkey, the stuffin
